New Works on Land:

1. Guardian Bana & Soilihin are still taking care of teak trees around gazebo. Also they are spraying the small teaks by water every morning and afternoon and its not good growing.
2. Guardian Saep is taking care of big teak by cleaning grasses, collecting dry leafs, cleaning teak tree from attack of stem borer and cured when found the disease at teaks trees.
3. Guardian Parid, Aji, Majun & Suma are still cleaning grasses on the hill and in front of house no.3 and making new water pond for drinking water.
4. Guardian Maman, Jaji & Oleh are still working under protected forest.
5. Kudil and caci working at durian plantation
6. Repairing water sources near gazeebo

General Condition of Land:

Generally all the teaks are in good growing and attacked stem borer disease have been handled and cured with insectisides (decis) by our workers.

On update Village:

Due to celebrating Indonesia Independence Day next month hence almost every region performed some activities as foot ball and volley ball contest among the villages and the games will be starting this week. Usually, the final of the games will be held one day before big day on 16 August 2008.

For that contest Goldteak have given aid to the young team of Bantargadung on 02 July 2008 that is 2 balls for the football of and 2 ball for the volley ball.

All guardians families are healthy.

New Works on Land:

1. Guardian Caci & Ajat are doing his routine pruning to new small branches which emerged. Where if these branches do not be thrown will bother and pursue growth process. They continuing spraying roundup on 5 July 2008 to kill seageagrass at around teaks area.
2. Guardian Kusnadi still taking care of orange tree by cleaning grasses around tree including clearing the seageagrass around area.
3. Making new ponds.
4. Repairing water sources.

1. All the guardians have doing routine pruned to new branches at teak tree using special knife also cutting grass on the valley.
2. still continue taking care of sanitation around teaks and giving of active insecticide with carbofuran (curacron).
3. continue giving insectisida containing Thuringiensis Bacillus or active insectisida Decis or carbofuran.
4. Clearing the grass and ground cover all around teaks area every day also spraying roundup to kill seageagrass at teaks and fruits plantation.
5. Spraying seageagrass at Mango plantation.
6. Continuing making of terrace at teaks location to prevent erosion. 

General Condition of Land :

Generally the teaks growth is good after giving the manure also synthetis fertilizer last month.

Update on Village :

The general election will be held tomorrow on Sunday to chosen directly of West Java Province Governor also vice governor period 2008-2013.

Update on Guardians :

In general all guardian in good condition

New Works on Land :

1. All the guardians have doing routine pruned to new branches at teak tree using special knife.
2. Existence of caterpillar attack from Beetle Lecopholis rorida (Uret Pest), attacking teak roots. Prevention: taking care of sanitation around teaks and giving of active insecticide with carbofuran (curacron).
3. Existence of pest attack leaf eater Hyblaea puera and Eutectona machaeralis. Prevention: giving insectisida containing Thuringiensis Bacillus or active insectisida Decis or carbofuran.
4. Clearing the grass and ground cover all around teaks area every day also spraying roundup to kill seageagrass at teaks and fruits plantation.
5. Making water pond at orange plantation for preparation of next dry season.
6. Spraying fruits plantation with fungicide like orange trees, to prevent the existence of disease pest attack.
7. Continuing making of terrace at teaks location to prevent erosion.
8. Bamboo trees at border with Mulyana land has been paid and cut away because bothering growth of teaks.

Some of Cibening society starting harvest paddy field which they plant at their land which planted at last the raining season.

Update on Guardians :

One of the guardian name Ajat was sick for 3 days but we brought to hospital already and other guardians families are healthy.

New Works on Land :

1. Planted nuts near house.
2. Replaced dead teak with new teaks.
3. Spraying insecticides to control caterpillar attack and grasshopper used active Decis with Triflumuron 25%, with dose 1-2 cc in 1 liter water.
4. Clearing the grass and ground cover all around teaks area every day also spraying roundup to kill seageagrass.
5. Making the terrace clearing the grasses all around teaks area

New Works on Land :

1. Fertilization to teak tree using cage manure still conducted and will finished at the end of this month. This fertilization is done periodically every 6 months,so growth of teak more optimal. Fertilize to be spread with minimum distance 25 cm from tree or under external leaf coronet from crop, encircling crop or also countersinked with deepness 20-30 cm.
2. Routine pruned to new branches at teak tree using special knife
3. Spraying insecticides to control caterpillar attack and grasshopper used active Decis with Triflumuron 25%, with dose 1-2 cc in 1 liter water.
4. Clearing the grass and ground cover all around teaks area every day also spraying roundup to kill seageagrass.
5. Making small Gazebo at Orange plantation to shelter and observe that plantation.
6. Installing stones at road near house-2.

General Condition of Land :

There was raining almost everyday and teaks growing very well.

Cibening society are working together repaired the road that was broken by water.

On update Guardians :

Some of the guardians’ families were sick last weeks but they cured already and they are healthy now.

Mr.Jonathan Curtis as Project Leader of GoldTeak paid a visit to Cibening.Checking the general condition of the land and controlling around teaks plantation also checking condition of the Cibening guardians.

It is rainy season so the guardian is doing some extra roofing.

New Works on Land:

1. Workers do spraying by using periodical insecticide to control caterpillar attack, insect and grasshopper. Insectide being applied is Curacron or decis, active barium triflumuron 25 %, each with dose 5-10 cc in 5 liters water. Till now, have never met insect attack or caterpillar seriously. But, this problems require attention to arrest pest attack which more hard. In the beginning of this rainy season usually there are caterpillar attack and proven some trees have started attacked.
2. Workers do making and dig the holes 15-20 cm all around teak trees and fruits for preparation periodic fertilization in the early of this rains.
3. Aqueduct from project to the village was improved, this to prevent erosion and floods.

General Condition of Land:

Condition of the existing soil in Cibening is less friable because the food/nutrient in the soil incomplete again. Hence it required fertilization in the early rainy season at this November 2007.

If the action of fertilization to add material/ soil nutrient is not done soon, so teak plants or fruits will not be able to grow perfectly.

Soil being desired by crop is having structure friable; there is pore space which can be filled by ground water and air. Ground water and air are very importance for growth crop root.

This situation hardly race growth of soil microorganism and it is important in process of decay of organic material in soil. Therefore, to improve this soil structure suggested to be given organic and un-organic fertilizer periodically.
